About Chapter IVXX
Chapter IVXX is an online community centered around cultivation, cannabis culture, practical knowledge, and open conversation.
That simple idea shapes everything else.
Many online communities begin as places where people gather around a shared interest.
Over time, priorities can change. Growth becomes a goal of its own. Advertising appears. Tracking expands. Commercial relationships develop. Governance becomes less visible.
The people creating the conversations, guides, photos, knowledge, history, and culture gradually become the resource being monetized.
Chapter IVXX was created to resist that progression from the beginning.
We are not trying to build the largest cannabis community on the internet. We are trying to build one worth belonging to.
Chapter IVXX does not treat privacy as an optional feature layered on after the platform is built. The objective is to minimize unnecessary collection from the beginning.
Where data is required for security, authentication, abuse prevention, or reliable operation, that collection should be limited, documented, and retained only as long as reasonably necessary.
Privacy-first does not mean invisible. It means respectful by design.
Real experience matters. Cultivation is full of opinions, traditions, techniques, experiments, failures, discoveries, and lessons that rarely fit neatly into a product description or search result. The forum exists to make room for those conversations.
