The public site uses no behavioral analytics, advertising trackers, marketing pixels, cross-site tracking, third-party profiling, invasive telemetry, or unnecessary identity collection.
Required data should be documented
Where logging is necessary for security, abuse prevention, authentication, or reliable operation, the community should document what is collected, why it is collected, and how long it is retained.
Normal hosting records still exist
The hosting provider receives network information needed to deliver and protect these pages, including request IP addresses. This public site does not use that information to build visitor profiles.
The forum has its own records
Member accounts and discussions live in the forum. Operating it requires account details and the content members choose to share. Detailed retention practices should be documented with the forum itself.
Know as little as necessary
The goal is not to know everything possible about members. The goal is to know as little as necessary to operate the community responsibly.
